The industrial trading and services company Greenfield Industrial, is pleased to announce that it has acquired the mobile fixed assets of the Brandenburg-based steel manufacturer as part of the insolvency proceedings of TransTec F&E Vetschau GmbH. In the next step, the company is preparing the short-term remarketing of the individual machines and equipment via the company's own auction platform. The project is to be completed by the end of the year and the property handed over to the owner or insolvency administrator in a clean sweep.

Greenfield Industrial Project Manager, Alexander Winter, expressed his satisfaction with the successful completion of this purchase and said, "We are proud to have been able to provide a quick solution to the insolvency administration of TransTec F&E Vetschau GmbH through the complete purchase of the mobile fixed assets. Thanks to our experience in the marketing of industrial fixed assets, we are convinced that we can also find international interested parties for individual machines who will benefit from their continued use."

Supply chain problems and rising energy costs caused the TransTec plant in Vetschau am Spreewald to stumble and file for insolvency at the end of 2022. Despite the efforts of the insolvency administrator, a continuation of the company could not be realized. As the most promising investors withdrew from the process at short notice, the closure of the company was unavoidable.

The TransTec plant in Vetschau manufactured bogies for rail transport and served as a supplier to the rail vehicle industry worldwide until it went bankrupt. The company's machinery includes several CNC machining centers, lathes, presses and other metalworking machines that can be used across industries.
